Well located pub with friendly staff, reasonable prices, a nice outdoor area, a small but fine selection of dishes and an audience from young to old. Highly recommended.

Quaint pub in the front west. Cozy, with a lot of style!

Nice beer with fruits , local beer , in Dutch we say Gezellig (cozy) , outdoor , indoor , nice location , prices very affordable and cheaper comparing to Holland for beer or drinks and food , staff was really helpful and find us a quick spot to sit and enjoy our evening. Danke

Good old beer punch

The Ulenspiegel has a great beer garden and very friendly staff. The inside looks very rustic due to the dark wood. He also has cheaper prices before 9 p.m., which is why he is perfect for enjoying the evening with his colleagues. In winter there is also mulled wine outside.

Cozy pub with tradition in downtown Kassel with small tasty tapas, very nice!

Staff stood outside, smoking with the guests. Greeted you outside, but then left you alone at the counter for about 5 minutes. Unfortunately no-go, after the 5 minutes gone, no word from the staff outside.

Really nice chilled environment. The right vintners and reasonably priced. Perfect for an evening out with food. Plus was the music ?? 10€ for 4 beers and a tip ??????

Old school pub atmosphere. Not very big but offers a good selection of beers. Service could be better but prices are low so that doesn’t hurt too much.

Nice pub in the heart of the West Front. Unfortunately, the beer selection is not particularly good. In addition, the beer garden (in winter it turns into a small Christmas market with lighting and decoration) is unfortunately not open very long. Whenever it is most beautiful, you will be sent in. Therefore a point deduction.

This bar had a great local feel (despite coming during Documenta) and the beers were unbelievably cheap but so good. We also had the warm cheese dish and the cold sausage which were both delicious. Ah, the pickles that came with the dish ... they were delicious; i wish i could have bought a jar to take home. The staff was super friendly. Had a great evening and it really was one of the highlights of our Documenta trip.

This pub is getting 5 stars purely based on the beer being the absolute most delicious pint I've ever had and the fact it was a pint and it only cost €2.50, what an absolute gem of a place. It's quite busy and the staff can speak some English. I love this place and I've only been here 10 minutes. Cannot wait to come back.
